Spotlight on Refugee Youth: Blog Submission Guidelines

Updated: Jan 27, 2021

The Migration Initiative, the Syrian Canadian Foundation, and Fast Forward Global Initiative invite Refugee Youth to share their integration experiences in Canada. Through your stories, we hope to amplify refugee experiences and mobilize knowledge on refugee policy outcomes.

Let us know you are interested in submitting a piece by completing this form. If you would like to be paired with a mentor, please indicate so when filling out the form. We have a mentorship program available to provide to help guide you through the writing and publishing process. Mentors will work with you and help answer any questions you may have.

You may also choose to submit your piece anonymously or using a pseudonym (fake name) to protect your identity and that of your family. If so, please indicate yes when filling out the form above. No identifying information (i.e. name) will be published, and your information will be kept in confidence. Only the lead and managing editor will have access to the information filled out in the form above. Accordingly, blog posts will undergo a blind review during the peer-review process.
